KWA Building Permits specialising in commercial and residential building permits, operating on the Mornington Peninsula since 1994. With the newly introduced Co-Director of the business coming on board in a larger capacity, it was time to modernise the look and feel of the company, whilst still keeping the historical nostalgia and recognition.​

The KWA Team has the goal of being the preferred building permit supplier to their clients and were unsure why they weren’t at front of mind with big projects. They approached Tracado to not only update their branding, but to discover more about their customers, competitors, and how they can expand their reach on the Peninsula and in Victoria.

Phase One of the scope of work for KWA involved establishing key messaging and a brand identity through a key messaging workshop, industry research and competitor & Google trends analysis. From this foundational work, Tracado was able to establish content pillars to use throughout all communications as well as completely re-write the website copy they had previously invested in. ​

KWA provided a list of customers that they work closely with as well as clients they would like to see more work from. Tracado conducted an anonymous survey with these clients to discover more about their decision-making process and the difference in service from KWA and their competitors. The findings were provided to the KWA team to assist with their internal processes.​

Tracado also assisted with recommending a tech stack and website host (CoreDNA) that will allow the best user journey as possible for potential clients. Tracado also developed extensive Local Area Marketing databases (including local architecture, design and building firms, industry events and publications) to build a rapport within the local area and expand their recognition.​

As well as an updated and modernised logo, a photoshoot and videoshoot was held, providing new assets for their website, social media pages and marketing materials.​

With the learnings from the key messaging workshop and client survey, a detailed 90 day marketing plan and 30 day social media content plan was created to help achieve their goals of brand recognition, client relationship building, and seeking new business.​
